At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.

We’re looking for a bold, imaginative Senior Product Designer to lead our most exploratory work and shape the evolution of the Lyft Rider experience. As part of our Rider team, you'll discover and unlock entirely new markets and user segments. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, rapidly prototypes concepts, and champions ideas that challenge conventional thinking.

You'll help define what transportation should feel like tomorrow, creating experiences that set new industry standards. Your work will fuel Lyft's growth by uncovering overlooked opportunities and turning untapped audiences into loyal riders.

We're looking for someone who champions a customer-first mindset and thrives in a fast-moving, ever-evolving environment. You’re experienced across the full product design lifecycle – from shaping early ideas to refining the details that ship. You'll use your craft, systems thinking, and product intuition to lead high-impact work across key parts of the Rider experience.

As a Senior Product Designer on the Rider team, you will drive 0-1 product initiatives that unlock new growth opportunities for Lyft. We are looking for an innovative thinker who thrives in uncharted territory, proactively identifies emerging rider needs, and creates experiences that transform everyday trips into lasting customer loyalty. In this role, you will:

  • Pioneer 0-1 Product Strategy: Discover untapped market potential, challenge existing paradigms, and build market-defining products that bring new riders to our platform.
  • Design Embedded Partner Touchpoints: Lead design efforts across third-party ecosystems (e.g., airline, hotel, and travel partners). You will create seamless end-to-end booking flows, scheduling widgets, deeplinks, and agentic (MCP) integrations for both scheduled and on-demand rides.
  • Drive Engagement & Conversion: Craft targeted value levers and incentive structures that encourage third-party users to transition into and engage with the primary Lyft app.
  • Execute Rapidly with Cross-Functional Impact: Validate hypotheses through rapid prototyping, iterate based on user insights, and align cross-functional partners around ambitious visions.

This position provides the autonomy to shape Lyft’s future direction, backed by the support to execute bold ideas and deliver transformative user experiences.
