Responsibilities

→Assist with procedures and demonstrate current knowledge and skill in nursing practice to ensure safe and effective care for the patient population.

→Provide treatment and determine plan of care under provider supervision.
→Able to assess patients over the phone to determine plans of care.
→Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, employees, physicians and the public to promote a professional health care environment.
→Stays current on electronic health records (EHR) changes and ensures appropriate and effective documentation in patient records.
→Authorizes refills safely, efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner according to approved protocols.
→Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Current CPR licensing required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in learning and handling a variety of duties.
Strong data entry skills and ability to work with computer applications
Organized with a strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment
Strong and comfortable communicating with patients, peers, and physicians
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and with co-workers in a team
Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information.
