• →Own and drive the technical architecture roadmap (6–12 months): Define, evolve, and execute scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures aligned with product and business goals. Translate vision into actionable technical milestones and delivery plans. 
• →Design and build cloud-native systems on AWS: Architect and implement solutions using core AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) with a focus on performance, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization. 
• →Enable AI/ML and LLM-powered systems: Architect and support systems leveraging Python and modern ML/LLM frameworks (currently using Ray and Sagemaker); collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to productionize model serving, inference pipelines, and scalable compute workloads.
• →Champion backend and API architecture: Guide and contribute hands-on to backend systems using Node.js and Python; define API standards, data contracts, security practices, and performance benchmarks.
• →Act as a hands-on technical leader: Write production-grade code when needed, review architecture and PRs, unblock teams, and raise the overall engineering bar through best practices.
• →Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership to align architecture decisions with business priorities, timelines, and constraints.
• →Ensure operational excellence: Establish standards for monitoring, logging, incident response, resilience, and continuous improvement across platforms and services. 

• 5–8+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering and system architecture, with demonstrable ownership of complex, production-grade systems. 
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, including designing and operating scalable cloud architecture and understanding trade-offs across services, cost, and performance.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and containerization, including deployment, scaling, networking, and observability in real-world environments.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and Python, with a solid grasp of system design, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with distributed computing and ML infrastructure, including Ray and exposure to LLM-based systems or AI-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices: CI/CD, IAC, version control, automated testing, and secure development practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, product managers, and leadership teams, to deliver complex initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving and architectural thinking skills, with the ability to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
