Driven to Deliver (What You'll Do)
As Director of Technical Operations, you will serve as the operational engine of the Technology organization owning IT, compliance infrastructure, vendor relationships, and strategic special projects. You will report directly to the CTO and manage a growing team.

IT & Team Leadership
•    Directly manage the IT team, setting priorities, driving execution, and developing team members.

•    Lead onboarding and offboarding processes from a systems and access perspective, partnering closely with People Ops.
Compliance & Data Privacy
•    Own operational accountability for SOC II, GDPR, and other compliance programs, working cross-functionally with Legal, Security, and Engineering.
•    Serve as an internal escalation point and occasional external-facing resource for client compliance inquiries.
•    Maintain and evolve the company's data privacy posture as regulatory and client requirements evolve.
Vendor Management
•    Build and maintain a comprehensive vendor management function across the Product and Technology organizations tracking spend, contracts, renewal timelines, and performance.
•    Manage usage and governance for key platforms including Slack, AWS, and AI tooling, optimizing spend and ensuring appropriate access controls.
•    Lead evaluation and onboarding of new tools and vendors, including due diligence, security review, and cross-functional rollout coordination.
Special Projects & AI Enablement
•    Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools that improve team productivity and operational efficiency across the Technology organization.
•    Act as a strategic problem-solver and internal consultant, taking on ambiguous, high-priority initiatives that require cross-functional coordination and creative thinking.
•    Partner with the CTO on operational planning, budget forecasting, and headcount management.

Equipped to Excel (Qualifications)
•    5+ years of experience in technical operations, IT management, or a related operational role within a technology-driven organization.

•    You communicate with clarity and confidence across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders and external clients.
•    You think in systems — you naturally look for process gaps and build infrastructure that scales.
•    You've worked at a B2B SaaS or media technology company and understand the pace and stakes of a growth-stage environment.
•    Experience working in a globally distributed organization across time zones.
