For an incredible company, we are looking for a great Design Team Lead to join our awesome team.

🧲 Magnetics is a digital company that develops and scales its own online products across competitive and fast-paced markets. Founded in 2014, we rely on data, bold hypotheses, and user experience to grow efficiently.

Requirements and skills:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer, including at least 1 year in a Lead or Manager role.
  • Proven experience working on B2C products with a focus on conversion optimization, promotional mechanics, retention strategies, and the design of landing pages and campaign pages.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a design team, including onboarding, design reviews, and competency development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Components, Auto Layout, Design Tokens, interactive prototyping, and working with large-scale design systems.
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, typography, color theory, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Understanding of UX research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, Customer Journey Mapping (CJM), and A/B testing.
  • Understanding of product metrics and user funnels, with the ability to use analytics to support design decision-making.
  • Nice to have: experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as basic motion design and UI animation skills.
  • Strong systems thinking and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and translate it into clear action plans.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently justify design decisions to Product Managers, development teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • English proficiency at Pre-Intermediate level or higher.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and keep the design systems for all projects up to date from both product and technical perspectives, ensuring synchronization with the latest product version and all required features.
  • Map product flows and processes within page layouts and continuously update design system components according to development, product, and content requirements.
  • Work on the design and development of individual functional parts of the product, taking into account technical, product, and business requirements while considering the widest possible range of user scenarios.
  • Ensure that all design files comply with the project’s visual style, are technically accurate, and closely reflect the final implementation, including responsive behavior and all functional scenarios.
  • Lead and manage the design team by assigning tasks, supporting designers in complex cases, conducting regular 1:1 meetings, evaluating work quality, and resolving internal conflicts.
  • Onboard new designers by introducing them to workflows and task management processes, supporting task execution, monitoring quality, facilitating communication with stakeholders, providing training, and delivering feedback on hard skills.
  • Onboard employees from other departments by explaining the role of design within each product and establishing effective collaboration processes for cross-functional tasks.
  • Develop and maintain practical training and learning programs for designers aligned with current project goals.
