We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to take community from a high-potential idea to a core part of the Manychat product, built around the creators who are at the heart of everything we do. You'll take subscriber and community data and turn it into experiences that help creators build more personal connections, increase engagement, and grow revenue through understanding their audiences better.

You'll report to the Product Design Manager and work as an equal partner with Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with PM to understand problems through data, customer insights, and workflow context.
  • Explore solutions quickly using sketches and prototypes.
  • Validate ideas and concepts through research and user testing.
  • Drive alignment with Product and Engineering on scope, tradeoffs, and definition of "done", surfacing risks early.
  • Turn validated ideas into clear, shippable UX and UI solutions with well-documented designs for handoff.
  • Apply established patterns and the design system, and review final UI quality.
  • Speak up when the team may be solving the wrong problem or missing a larger opportunity.
  • Connect design choices to product goals and metrics and present outcomes, not outputs.
  • Own the design process end-to-end.
  • Develop a strong understanding of creator workflows and messaging constraints, and use it to make sound product decisions.
  • Help the PM discover and select the problem we're solving.
  • Frame problems with evidence (data + customer insight) and validate solutions with lightweight research and testing.
  • Drive alignment with Product and Engineering on scope, tradeoffs, and definition of "done", surfacing risks early.
  • Ship high-quality community experiences that are easy to build, easy to use, and meet a high craft bar.

You’ll need:

  • 5+ years of product design experience, owning features from discovery through research, design, and launch.
  • Strong discovery skills: problem framing, hypothesis formation, and validation.
  • Experience validating solutions through lightweight research and testing.
  • Strong interaction design and UI craft, with high proficiency in Figma.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Ownership mindset: you drive clarity and own design end-to-end.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience designing for creator tools, community products, or messaging workflows.
  • Experience with CRM products or workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted prototyping or AI-enabled experiences is a plus.
