Health Education Program Service Coordinator (Remote in NC)

This position will coordinate and implement professional continuing education programming that aligns with the goals and deliverables of the Ready for Life NC preconception health campaign.

• →Coordinates the grant’s professional continuing education programs, including live webinars, in-person regional trainings, and enduring content modules, with external partners.
• →Assists in researching and developing program topics and identifying potential expert speakers within North Carolina.
• →Develops targeted marketing strategies for professional education programs.
• →Supports the planning and implementation of a biennial statewide preconception health conference.
• →Work in collaboration with other team members to respond to current and emerging programmatic opportunities, serving as a preconception health subject matter expert and representative of the March of Dimes Ready for Life NC program as needed.
• →Attend all appropriate national and state March of Dimes meetings.

• 2-4 years experience
• Four year college degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of health education/promotion principles and theories, working knowledge of reproductive and maternal health
• Skilled in forging partnerships and building trust with diverse communities and community-serving organizations
• Skilled in Microsoft office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel 
• Masters education in public health preferred
