310T Truck Mechanic

A growing family owned and operated construction company and manufacturer is seeking a Licensed 310T Truck Mechanic in Cornwall, ON. The Diesel Truck Technician offers fantastic work stability with a well established and highly regarded organization, as well as the opportunity to work with a small team on a fleet of late model vehicles. Compensation $37.00 – $50.00/hour to start with a $4/hr shift premium on hours worked after 6:00pm Benefits available after 90 days include: · Medical · Dental · Vision · Life Insurance · Vacation · Tool and Boot allowance Schedule Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 1:00pm to 11:00pm, Fridays 3:00pm to 7:00pm Requirements · Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems · Knowledgeable in Mack Trucks, Freightliner, and Kenworth · Perform preventative maintenance on all asset vehicles · Ability to read schematics and blueprints · Ability to work in a small team (team of 3 to 4) · Able to work independently with little to no supervision · Able to stay organized throughout shift and prioritize tasks MT1
