About the Role
~1 min readMaven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Midwife based in Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia who is fluent in Japanese to support our members through virtual care services.
As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to connect with members across the globe, scaling impact and healthcare access worldwide. You will join a curated provider network encompassing 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care. As we continue to expand our member population across 175+ countries, we’re also growing our best-in-class global network of providers. If you are passionate about improving clinical outcomes, increasing access to care, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care, you would be an ideal addition to our team.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 30-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
- →Parental leave and return to work (and how to discuss these topics with management team)
- →Balancing career and parenthood
- →Resume review and coaching on how to tell your story
- →Career transitions and job loss
- →Manager training, leadership development, time management
- →Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
- →Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
- →Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone
- Must be a National Certified Career Consultant (Japan)
- Experience providing career coaching, professional development coaching, or leadership coaching to individuals
- Currently residing in Japan, Singapore, or Australia
- Fluent in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to the ICF Code of Ethics
- Able to provide approximately 2 hours of member coaching per week; this is a part-time, independent contractor role
- Comfortable delivering coaching through a digital platform (prior virtual coaching experience preferred)
- Passionate about supporting individuals in career growth, professional transitions, and personal development
- Flexibility. Meet with members virtually, when and where it’s convenient for you.
- Expand your practice. Supplement your regular practice through Maven’s proprietary, secure telehealth platform:
- Provide care via video and private messaging
- Participate in unique opportunities, e.g. moderating community forums, leading virtual member classes, writing or reviewing educational articles
- In-person referrals to your practice
- Training & events. Optional participation in Maven sponsored lectures, panels, and/or other speaking opportunities as needed
