What You'll Do:
As our first finance hire beyond the CFO, you will play a foundational role in building the internal finance function. You'll help establish scalable financial processes, partner cross-functionally to support growth initiatives, and provide critical insights that enable data-driven decisions across the company. This is a high-impact role with visibility into all areas of the business.
Own and evolve the company-wide operating model to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Build and maintain cash flow and scenario models across B2B and D2C revenue streams
Analyze unit economics, CAC, LTV, margin trends, and channel performance to inform strategic decisions
Support the month-end close process in partnership with outsourced accountants
Manage vendor payment approvals, expense tracking, and revenue recognition processes
Assist with audit readiness and financial compliance
Partner with sales, marketing, and ops to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and evaluate GTM strategies
Provide financial inputs into product launches, customer acquisition plans, and inventory planning
Help prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and fundraising activities
Drive the implementation of tools and workflows for accurate, timely financial reporting
Develop dashboards and reporting packages for key company and department-level KPIs
4–6+ years of progressive finance experience in startups, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills
Experience with both B2B and D2C business models preferred
Familiarity with SaaS or consumer product KPIs and reporting frameworks
Operationally minded, highly analytical, and comfortable with ambiguity
Self-starter with strong ownership mindset and bias for execution
