Chaplain

1. →Responds appropriately to spiritual requests/referrals from patient, family members and staff.
2. →Participates in an interdisciplinary approach to pastoral care and patient health.
3. →Provides spiritual support through listening, prayer and guidance in collaboration with staff and other primary caregivers.
4. →Participate in and provide educational programs for staff on ethical, spiritual and emotional issues.
5. →Develops and maintains a resource group of clergy within the community and healthcare system.
6. →Maintains records, reports and other documentation related to the work.

7.      Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Divinity, Theology or Religious/Pastoral Studies from a theological school or seminary required. 

• One year chaplain experience or other pastoral ministry experience

Preferred: 

• Master’s degree in theology or related subject
• Clinical pastoral education, minimum of one unit
• Ordination and/or ecclesiastical endorsement
