Description

As an Estimator with McShane Construction, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a thorough understanding of everything required to successfully bid and win multi-family, commercial, and education construction projects. You’ll have hands-on involvement in preconstruction services and direct collaboration with industry professionals while being part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

• →Analyze bid specifications and drawings to prepare detailed project estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
• →Collaborate with project management and marketing teams on proposals, bid analysis, constructability reviews, and preliminary project schedules.
• →Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• →Participate in pre-bid meetings to define project scope and requirements.
• →Assist with purchase orders and subcontracts for awarded projects.

Requirements

• →Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• →An eye for detail, organizational prowess, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• →Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with vendors and teammates.
• →Ability to use or learn estimating software
• →Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Other Things to Know:

Full-time, in-office position.

Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.

Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. required.
