Be the Guardian of Quality, Compliance, and Competitive Edge
We are a leader in designing and delivering high-performance process equipment for the oil & gas industry. We're looking for a smart, hungry, and humble professional who thrives on turning complex code requirements, client specifications, and industry standards into accurate, optimized, and winning estimates.
In this critical role, you won't just check boxes. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring every quotation and project we deliver reflects the highest standards of compliance, technical excellence, and commercial competitiveness. Your work directly shapes our reputation as the most respected provider of process equipment and services in the industries we serve.
If you love diving deep into technical details, spotting optimization opportunities others miss, and collaborating across teams to deliver results, this is your opportunity to make a visible impact.
What You'll Do
- Review RFQs with a sharp eye for client, code, and standard requirements, then translate them into clear cost, schedule, and execution plans.
- Present compliance costs and timelines with confidence during quotation and negotiation phases.
- Optimize estimates for ASME Section VIII pressure vessels and packaged process equipment, balancing code compliance with cost-effectiveness and delivery accuracy.
- Identify sub-tier supplier requirements, maintain strong vendor relationships, and keep pricing intelligence current.
- Serve as the go-to expert for specification compliance arbitration during project execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to incorporate atypical requirements and improve overall estimating accuracy.
- Use ACCE (and ideally Cleopatra) to produce high-quality estimates, then seamlessly transfer data into the ERP system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating standards for our core products.
This is hands-on, high-visibility work with occasional travel and regular interaction with both internal teams and external clients/vendors.
Who We're Looking For Smart, Hungry, and Humble
- Smart: You have strong technical depth in ASME pressure vessels, code-driven fabrication, and process equipment estimating. You can read P&IDs, drawings, and specs fluently and quickly understand cost drivers (PWHT, NDE, thick-wall, testing, etc.).
- Hungry: You're proactive, detail-oriented, and driven to improve every estimate and process. You see optimization opportunities and take initiative to deliver better outcomes.
- Humble: You're a team player who communicates clearly, builds strong relationships, and values input from engineering, fabrication, and leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; further technical education or certifications a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in estimating, engineering, or fabrication of ASME pressure vessels and code-driven process equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, high-pressure service, thick-wall fabrication, and associated cost impacts.
- Demonstrated experience estimating pressure vessels (packaged equipment / process skids experience preferred).
- Proficient with ACCE estimating software REQUIRED (Cleopatra experience is a strong plus).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, data sheets, and client specifications.
- Solid communication skills and comfort engaging with suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
Why Join Us?
This is more than an estimating role, it's a position of influence where your expertise helps win projects and build long-term client trust. You'll work with a team that values technical excellence and continuous improvement in a stable, respected company serving critical energy infrastructure.
If you're the type of person who gets satisfaction from getting the details right, helping the team win, and constantly raising the bar, we want to hear from you.
