The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist ensures that all clinical and operational practices meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and client outcomes in accordance with BACB guidelines, CASP guidelines, payor requirements, and internal policies. This role is responsible for conducting quality assurance audits and providing feedback to enhance service delivery across ABA programs. This is a hybrid position in which the QA Specialist will oversee a small onsite caseload while performing the majority of their quality assurance responsibilities remotely.

Conduct regular audits of treatment plans, session notes, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), overall case, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BACB, CASP, HIPAA, and payer guidelines.
Provide actionable feedback to supervisors based on QA audit findings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in ABA service delivery.
Provide targeted training ideas and areas needed for agency improvement to the Senior Director of Clinical Quality.
Maintain current and historical scores for every supervisor on designated tracking Systems
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centered care.
Deliver a minimum of 20 billable hours per week through quality assurance functions, including clinical audits, treatment integrity reviews, and oversight of service delivery.
Sustain a limited direct service caseload to support organizational excellence, encompassing supervision, treatment plan development, clinical assessments, and caregiver training.
Requirements
~1 min readRequired: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related fields.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ABA service delivery is preferred.
Strong understanding of BACB ethics code, ABA treatment models, and payor documentation requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive
feedback and collaborate across teams.
Ability to stay up-to-date on relevant and emerging research in the field of applied
behavior analysis
Flexible availability up to 6 PM PST as needed
Must reside in CA, WA, CO, AZ, TX, or VA
