Senior Officer - Sustainability

Role Overview:

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a meaningful impact in the financial sector? We're looking for a Senior Officer to support the development and execution of MeDirect’s ESG strategy. In this role, you'll collaborate across teams to drive ESG initiatives, manage data and reporting, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements. Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the formulation and subsequent project management of strategic initiatives in relation to MeDirect ESG Strategy
• Assisting in the preparation of the sustainability report, particularly regarding data collection, analysis, reporting and communication
• Working across teams to support consistency in communication and disclosures across all reporting venues
• Tracking and managing ESG-related inquiries from relevant stakeholders and coordinating responses with the appropriate departments
• Supporting the development of systems to collect, manage, and enhance ESG data aligned with the MeDirect ESG strategy
• Following market trends, best practices, reporting frameworks and policy/regulation on ESG
• Collecting required data points and preparing quantitative analysis for regulatory reporting purposes, particularly in relation Pillar III ESG disclosures, and sustainability report
• Supporting internal and external communications efforts
• Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Head of Sustainability

Required knowledge, skills and experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Banking or related area or equivalent technical knowledge, skills and/or experience from a similar role
• An excellent command of English, both written and verbal
• Interest in banking and ESG-related regulatory matters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload
