This is an incredibly ambitious mission, but we believe that a team of ambitious people with high ownership can accomplish incredible things.
We’re a team of passionate, mission-driven engineers from companies like Tesla, Amazon, SpaceX, and Neuralink. We’re collaborative and love moving fast, both with our product and on team trips skiing or go-karting!
As a team, we love nerding out about engineering and robotics — plus other topics like race cars or cooking. We like learning new things and then sharing our new knowledge with each other.
Our team is opinionated and straightforward. We don’t mind intense discussions about design tradeoffs. If we have arguments or miscommunication, we resolve conflicts quickly and empathetically.
Be the first Product Designer and define our design practice from the ground up.
Conduct research with scientists to understand workflows, motivations, and mental models.
Turn insights into simple, elegant user flows and polished UI that customers love.
Prototype rapidly to validate ideas.
Collaborate deeply with engineers to ship high-quality experiences in small iterations.
Build foundational UX patterns and a lightweight design system for speed and consistency.
Conducting user research and interviews to develop empathy for our customers, including an understanding of their pain points, goals and objectives and usability concerns
Quickly iterating to problem-solve, prototype and test new designs and solutions with Engineering, Product and small, nimble cross-functional teams
Driving clarity by effectively communicating design assets and building empathy for our customers among stakeholders
Working with scrappy teams, ship skateboards not cars
