At Latitude.sh, we're growing quickly — and with growth comes the need to build People Operations that are increasingly scalable, efficient, data-driven, and automated.

As a People Operations Specialist, you will be a key owner of our core employee lifecycle processes in Brazil, with a strong focus on Payroll, Benefits, Labour Relations, Working Hours Management, and Employee Lifecycle Operations.

This role goes beyond simply executing processes. You'll be expected to understand how our People Operations work end-to-end, identify improvement areas, use data to generate insights, and leverage automation and AI to simplify and improve the employee experience and the way our People team operates.

You'll work closely with employees, managers, People team members, Finance, external providers, and global stakeholders, ensuring that our people processes are accurate, compliant, scalable, and continuously improving.

This is an opportunity for someone who is highly analytical, hands-on, curious about technology, and motivated by the challenge of building better processes in a fast-growing global environment.

  • Own and manage the end-to-end Brazilian payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and a smooth monthly cycle.

  • Manage the employee lifecycle from admission through termination, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, compliance, and a seamless employee experience.

  • Manage and continuously improve employee benefits, including enrollment, eligibility, vendor management, employee support, and process improvements.

  • Manage labour relations and union matters, including collective bargaining processes, agreements, documentation, and interactions with union representatives.

  • Own processes related to vacations, time off, and employee leave, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

  • Manage employees’ electronic timekeeping and working hours control identifying inconsistencies and ensuring accurate records.

  • Build and maintain People Operations indicators and dashboards, providing visibility into payroll, benefits, workforce costs, employee lifecycle, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, Megaport’s Global P&C/Payroll team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing, financial reporting and alignment with global standards, while meeting Brazilian requirements.

  • Ensure People Operations processes comply with Brazilian labour legislation, company policies, and internal controls, identifying and addressing risks while maintaining accurate and reliable employee data.

  • Explore and apply AI tools and solutions to automate processes, analyse data, improve workflows, and enhance the employee experience.

  • Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll, benefits, leave, time management, and other People Operations topics.

  • Document, standardise, and continuously improve People Operations processes as the organisation scales.

  • Proven experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Payroll, Personnel Administration, or a similar role, ideally in a technology, SaaS, startup, or high-growth environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Brazilian payroll and labour legislation.

  • Experience using People data and analytics to build reports, dashboards, and KPIs, and a strong track record of leveraging technology and automation to improve and streamline processes.

  • Experience using AI tools in your day-to-day work and a genuine curiosity about how AI can transform People Operations.

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and take ownership of processes from end to end.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, external providers, and global teams.

  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, with confidence working with international stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of LATAM and/or US payroll processes is a strong plus.
