Pay Range*: $30.65/hr. - $44.45/hr.

Position Summary

Support all medical practices by coordinating patient care workflows and procedures while supervising back‑office operations for assigned clinical sites, assisting leadership, and ensuring all interactions follow the five (5) Simply Better steps.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

1.     Must have the ability, skill-set, qualifications, education, and licensure that are required for all the responsibilities this position must cover.

2.     Must excel in communication (written & verbal), customer service and can work independently and as part of a team.

3.     Must excel in prioritization, organization and multi-tasking while demonstrating attention to detail and follow through.

4.     Utilize critical thinking skills to identify issues, problem solve to logical conclusion, demonstrate initiative, and be responsible. 

5.     Assist in the data collection for the assessment of the patient.

6.     Implement a teaching plan with patient, family and/or caregiver(s) as necessary.

7.     Implement orders and treatment plan components as directed by Provider.

8.     Be at work and be on time.

9.     Follow company policies, procedures, and directives.

10.  Interact in a positive and constructive manner.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications/Work Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of ambulatory care pharmacy technician experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacology, medical terminology, pathologies, disease states, insurance and billing and related information to medical management plans.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Education/Licensure/Certification:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Certificate from an accredited Pharmacy technician program required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Billingual preferred.
