Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
We are the team driving the future of memory module innovation at Micron! Our group collaborates across architecture, design, validation, and industry bodies to define modern standards that shape next-generation DRAM solutions. If you’re motivated by influencing the broader semiconductor ecosystem and working alongside experts across companies, you’ll feel right at home here.
We’re looking for a JEDEC Member of Technical Staff (MTS) Hardware Engineer to represent Micron in shaping industry standards for DRAM memory modules. Responsibilities:
* Represent Micron in JEDEC committees, task groups, and technical forums for DRAM module standards
* Define and review standards for module architecture, electrical/mechanical requirements, signal integrity, timing, and compliance
* Partner with internal engineering teams to develop proposals and translate standards into design guidance
* Create and review technical specifications, test methodologies, and interoperability requirements
* Build relationships with internal and external partners to influence future standards and roadmaps
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
* Experience in hardware development, system architecture, or validation for DRAM modules or high-speed memory subsystems
* Working knowledge of JEDEC standards and memory interface technologies
* Experience with schematic review, PCB design, validation, compliance testing, or system debug
* Strong technical communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Direct participation in JEDEC or other industry standards organizations
* Experience with DDR5, DDR6, RDIMM, LRDIMM, MRDIMM, CAMM, or similar technologies
* Familiarity with signal integrity, timing analysis, interoperability, and compliance methodologies
* Experience leading cross-functional or cross-company technical initiatives
* Experience translating standards into actionable design guidance for product teams
