Emphasizes training to acquire the knowledge and abilities needed to perform or advance as a Process Technician. Perform duties to become familiar with the assigned area. Performs technical tests and experiments for process of R&D engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Performs set-up of semiconductor processing equipment. Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Works on Fab equipment and processes.
