AUTOMOTIVE A-LEVEL TECHNICIAN

Delaney Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, produce quality work, and help support the development of less-experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems
Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivability repairs
Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections with clear pictures, videos, and notes
Accurately document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks
Maintain strong productivity and efficiency
Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
Assist and mentor B- and C-level technicians when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow established shop procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

At least five years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
Ability to perform advanced mechanical repairs
Comfortable working on a wide range of makes and models
Must own the tools necessary for the position
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Dependable attendance and professional attitude
ASE certifications are preferred
State inspection license is a plus
