SUMMARY
The Marketing Campaign Specialist is an individual contributor who will support the delivery of our marketing strategy across various channels. The Marketing Campaign Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns that support brand, product, and growth goals. This role turns strategic direction into well-organized, on-time campaigns across email, web, social, and other channels, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable results. They will work with the SVP of Marketing to proactively identify areas for marketing optimization. This is a highly cross-functional role supporting a diverse set of initiatives, enabling this person to collaborate with all levels and groups across the organization while also being hands-on.

- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a closely related field of study; minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

- Geographical Location: This position may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Individuals working in this position must be located within the state of California. Relocation assistance is not available.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support a strong and consistent expression of the brand across all marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Lending, People and Talent, IT) to implement and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive engagement, growth, or retention.
- Support end-to-end content production, working with external design resources to deliver content. Drive high-quality creation of content for marketing channels.
- Review, write, and edit content for typographical, brand tone and voice, and graphic consistency – e.g., direct mail, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters, communications, etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services areas.
- Resolve questions, requests, and problems courteously and within the given timeline.
- Provide project management support to ensure deadlines are met and perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
- Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act, including but not limited to reporting suspicious activities to your supervisor and BSA Officer.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Translate business and product objectives into clear campaign plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop campaign briefs outlining target audience, key messages, offers, channels, and success measures.
- Coordinate with internal partners (design, content, digital, product, branch/sales) to gather requirements and align priorities.
- Conduct market research & analyze data to reach target demographics.
- Conduct research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Maintain the campaign calendar to ensure visibility, sequencing, and on-time execution.
- Point person for all premiums that enhance promotional activities.
- Build and deploy campaigns across channels (e.g., email, web, social media, in-branch, paid media support as needed).
- Work with designers, email and web specialists, to create campaign assets, including copy, creative requests, landing page needs, and tracking links.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all campaigns to ensure accuracy, functionality, and brand consistency.
- Manage campaign workflows, approvals, and deadlines to keep projects on track.
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve future campaigns, including messaging, timing, and audience targeting.
- Provide post-campaign summaries for stakeholders, highlighting what worked, what didn’t, and next steps.
- Uncover consumer insights and make data-driven recommendations to maximize business impact by gathering and analyzing internal and external datasets. Work closely with the Marketing Team on executing integrated marketing initiatives across all delivery channels.
- Work with SVP, Marketing, and agency to understand metrics and track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure campaigns align with member/customer experience, operational readiness, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the digital/analytics teams to ensure proper tracking, tagging, and measurement.
- Help improve and document campaign processes, checklists, and best practices.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and any applicable regulatory standards.
- Uncover consumer insights and make data-driven recommendations to maximize business impact by gathering and analyzing internal and external datasets. Work closely with the Marketing Team on executing integrated marketing initiatives across all delivery channels.
- Work with SVP, Marketing, and agency to understand metrics and track, measure, and report on campaign performance.
- Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.

- Working knowledge of digital & direct marketing channels.
- Working knowledge of how to use online analytical tools (Google Analytics, FB reporting, etc.).
- Experience using Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and other marketing software.
- Ability to provide high-level copywriting when needed.
