~1 min readThe Senior Manager, Retail Marketing is a key leader within Mitsubishi Motors North America’s marketing organization, responsible for driving dealer‑level demand, elevating retail execution, and ensuring our brand shows up with consistency, clarity, and impact across the network.
This role leads the strategy and activation of dealer advertising programs, retail campaigns, in‑store merchandising, digital experiences, test drive events, and retail programs that generate traffic, leads, and sales, ensuring dealers have the assets and support needed to deliver a consistent experience from online to in‑store. The Senior Manager partners closely with Tier 1 marketing, field teams, agencies, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution across all tiers.
This role reports to the Director, Retail Marketing.
- Lead the concepting, development, and execution of national dealer advertising programs and Tier 3 retail marketing campaigns.
- Build integrated toolkits, assets, and playbooks that enable dealers to activate consistently and effectively across channels.
- Develop retail programs that reinforce Mitsubishi’s brand platform and support priority vehicle launches, incentives, and seasonal events.
- Oversee the strategy and performance of dealer websites, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and conversion‑driven UX.
- Partner with digital teams and vendors to optimize traffic, lead generation, and on‑site engagement.
- Implement best practices, templates, and guidance to elevate dealer digital execution and compliance.
- Lead the planning, promotion, and execution of national and regional test drive events at dealerships.
- Develop event toolkits, signage, digital assets, and lead‑handling processes to ensure consistent, high‑quality execution.
- Partner with Sales Performance team to drive participation, maximize lead capture, and measure event performance.
- Own the strategy, design, and deployment of showroom POP materials, signage, and retail merchandising kits.
- Ensure in‑store experiences reflect the brand, support sales conversations, and reinforce key product and warranty messages.
- Manage production timelines, vendor relationships, and distribution logistics.
- Oversee the Co‑op and RDA programs in partnership with ACB, ensuring program rules, processes, and guidelines support evolving business needs.
- Manage program budgets, fund utilization, and financial stewardship to maximize dealer participation and marketing impact.
- Continuously refine program rules and workflows to improve efficiency, dealer experience, and alignment with retail priorities.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure the impact of retail marketing programs, dealer advertising, test drive events, and digital performance.
- Analyze results, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement across campaigns and channels.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership, field teams, and dealer partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Retail Marketing and Tier 1 brand teams to ensure message alignment, creative consistency, and coordinated go‑to‑market planning.
- Collaborate with Product, Incentives, CRM, Digital, Legal, Sales Performance and Field Operations to deliver integrated, customer‑centric retail experiences.
- Manage agency partners to ensure high‑quality creative, on‑time delivery, and efficient use of budgets.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive retail marketing, regional/Tier 2 or Tier 3 marketing strategies and tactics, preferably from the OEM side with strong digital knowledge.
- Vendor, project & contract management experience.
- Ability to collaborate & identify/resolve conflicts or barriers to effective teamwork.
- Strong presentation skills that can be persuasive and informative in nature at all levels in the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including data segmentation, customer lifecycle management, automation workflows, and performance reporting.
- Proven experience supporting and executing retail marketing campaigns, with hands-on involvement in promotional planning, audience targeting, omnichannel activation, and post-campaign analysis to drive sales and customer engagement.
The base salary for this position ranges between $130,000 to $140,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
