The Partnership Development Coordinator will be responsible for driving new business growth for Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s Global Partnerships team. This role will identify and engage prospective corporate partners, generate qualified meetings, and help build the pipeline for one of the most dynamic sports and entertainment platforms in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • →Research and identify high-potential companies and decision-makers that align with Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s portfolio and partnership opportunities.
  • →Conduct consistent outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels to secure qualified meetings for the Global Partnerships sales team.
  • →Create personalized, relevant messaging that connects prospective partners’ business objectives with Monumental’s teams, venue, media, and broader platform.
  • →Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, outreach activity, follow-ups, and opportunities within Monumental’s CRM.
  • →Understand prospective partners’ businesses, marketing priorities, target audiences, and potential partnership objectives to ensure meetings represent meaningful opportunities.
  • →Work closely with Global Partnerships leadership and sales executives to prioritize categories, companies, and decision-makers and develop effective prospecting strategies.
  • →Monitor business news, industry trends, sponsorship activity, executive moves, funding events, and other signals to uncover timely new-business opportunities.
  • →Assist with targeted campaigns surrounding key Monumental assets and opportunities across the Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, Capital One Arena, Monumental Media, and other properties.
  • →Develop a strong understanding of Monumental’s business and communicate our value proposition professionally and effectively to senior-level corporate decision-makers.
  • →Meet or exceed established targets for prospecting activity, qualified meetings, and pipeline contribution.
  • →Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, customer service, sports, media, or another client-facing environment preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and comfortable working toward measurable goals and performance targets.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant companies, executives, and business trends.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of prospects, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Ability to develop personalized outreach rather than relying solely on standardized messaging.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and sales prospecting tools is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Range: $24.04/hr USD.
