MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we’ve come a long way since. Today we’re a 400 + strong team (we’re thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.
Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you’ll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO and now in Cape Town South Africa!
The Trading & Merchandising team is on a mission to keep our site performing at its best every single day. We are responsible for creating an exceptional onsite customer experience - from SEO optimization and promotional support to managing campaigns and landing pages - and turning those interactions into real results for the business. Working at the intersection of product, brand, and commerce, we ensure our site journeys are seamless, engaging, and consistently drive the growth of moo.com.
We’re looking for a commercially-minded Ecommerce Trading & Merchandising Specialist to join our growing team. This role is the "engine room" of our website - you’ll bridge the gap between strategy and execution, taking ownership of key site builds, trading streams, and optimization projects.
You’ll be a hands-on expert in our CMS, leading the build process, executing site changes, and analyzing performance to recommend the next round of improvements. If you love the intersection of data, design, and user experience, and you’re ready to take more autonomy over our digital storefront, we’d love to meet you.
Own the Build & Execution: Lead the end-to-end build and deployment of new landing pages, site updates, and promotional flows, ensuring everything is QA’d, pixel-perfect, and live on schedule
CRO & A/B Testing: Support in our continuous testing roadmap. Use data to identify friction points in the user journey and build, launch, and report on A/B tests to drive conversion growth
Operational Optimization: Proactively audit the site for performance issues, broken links, or UX bottlenecks, and drive the resolution of these issues independently
Data-Driven Insights: Go beyond reporting; analyze site performance metrics (conversion, bounce rate, AOV) to provide actionable recommendations for site iterations
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Design and Product teams to shape new journeys and brief technical requirements for site improvements
SEO Implementation: Apply SEO best practices to all new builds, ensuring meta-data, header structures, and internal linking support our organic growth strategy.
Experience: You have experience in an ecommerce trading or web operations role, with a strong portfolio of site builds or CRO projects
Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable working in a CMS (e.g., Magnolia or similar) and are confident in delivering high quality builds
Analytical Mindset: You are confident in Google Analytics and other reporting tools. You don’t just look at numbers; you look for the story behind them to make decisions
Proactive Problem Solver: You are the person who spots a problem and fixes it before it impacts revenue. You take pride in your attention to detail
Communication: You’re comfortable communicating with stakeholders across design, dev, and marketing to keep projects moving
Tools: Familiarity with wireframing tools (e.g. Figma) and project management software (e.g. Jira) is a major plus
Experience working within a CMS (Content Management System)
