The Porter is an integral part of our maintenance team and plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of the community. This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day property upkeep, apartment turns, and common area maintenance including, but not limited to: Cleaning apartments after move-out and preparing them for new residents Removing trash and debris from the grounds daily Sweeping sidewalks, breezeways, stairwells, and driveways on a regular basis Maintaining cleanliness of common areas, amenities, office spaces, and public access areas Supporting the maintenance team with make-readies, trash-outs, and general property upkeep Assisting housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed Replacing light bulbs and helping maintain exterior lighting Helping maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop Distributing flyers, notices, and letters to residents when necessary Assisting with physical tasks including moving appliances, furniture, and supplies as needed Responsible for maintaining the security of the property and proper handling of community keys at all times This role is ideal for someone dependable, hands-on, and motivated to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
