You can get fast access to expert healthcare, from consultations and diagnosis to treatment and aftercare.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →To transfer, transport and guide patients safely around the hospital, as required, in a caring, sympathetic and professional manner
- →To assist in the safety of patients, staff and consultants
- →To collect and deliver clean and dirty linen
- →Responsible for the teams safe management of the collection and disposal of waste, both domestic
and clinical in line with corporate and hospital policy WM01 - →To ensure teams compliance with all Health & Safety at Work Regulations
- →To ensure Medical Gases are checked & ordered ‘in time’ for a safe continuation of service
- →To ensure the service corridor is kept clear and tidy at all times
- →To assist with the general security of the hospital and associated grounds and report any security
problems to the Senior Management team - →Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance department via Pirana
- Whilst no formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environment
- A clean driving licence is essential
- Experience of delivering frontline customer service and working in a similar environment
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Full and current UK driving licence
- Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends
