Equity Research, HK/China Transportation , Associate/ VP

Primary Responsibilities The candidate is expected to join the HK/China Transportation team. The team has been voted as the No.1 in the 2026 Institutional Investor Asia Research survey. * Responsible for sector and company research and report drafting * Perform detailed research analysis both quantitatively and qualitatively based on deep knowledge and understanding of fundamentals * Address client requests in a timely fashion, including performing the underlying analysis and drafting communication documents and emails * Conduct live client interaction including in-person meetings, live calls, webcasts and ad-hoc interactions QUALIFICATIONS Skills required (essential) * Experience in equity research within a top tier sell side or buy side firm * 3-5 years of relevant experience in equity research or relevant areas is preferred * Strong accounting knowledge and modelling skills * Proactive learner and ability to work under pressure * Excellent communication skills both in writing and in live client interaction * Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading and writing) WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
