Team Profile Singapore Equity Trading Team The Singapore Equity Trading Team provides trade execution across multiple asset classes including equities, futures, options and FX across Asia, EMEA and MENA markets for a large and diverse group of MSIM’s Portfolio Management Teams Job Description: Multi Asset Derivatives Trader MSIM is looking for a Singapore based trader with experience executing cash and derivatives trades across equities, futures and foreign exchange. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to manage communications with multiple portfolio managers and investment teams, as well as sell side dealers. Thoughtful leadership and team player skills are vital to this role. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, analytical, have excellent communication skills, along with an interest in global markets. * Work with PM and Trading Teams members to manage orders through the complete lifecycle including the following: Order generation, cash management, pre-trade surveillance, execution and settlement processes. * Verifying overall accuracy of trade construction, pre-trade analytics and venue analysis inclusive of liquidity risk to ensure best execution. * Understanding global markets to produce market content for investment teams, liquidity, market structure and efficiency of market access. * Work closely with compliance, legal, operations, risk, and IT to ensure efficient and effective trading processes Required Skills / Experience * 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role * Ability to adhere to the regulations associated with the investment management business * Familiarity with order management, execution, and trading systems * Knowledge of markets, macro factors and cross-asset impact to relevant portfolios * Desire to work with teams and in large groups to service investment professionals * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally * Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business requirements and support team objectives * Open to developing and adopting AI-enabled workflows * Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong focus on accuracy and execution quality * Ability to make sound, time-sensitive decisions in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
