As a Trader Renewable Feedstocks, you drive growth in the fast-moving markets for circular feedstocks, biomass, and renewable energy. You build strong relationships with suppliers and customers, identify new opportunities, negotiate deals, and manage trades from sourcing to delivery. By staying close to market developments, managing margins, and coordinating logistics, you help create profitable growth while taking full ownership of your portfolio and results.
ConNRG is scaling from an ambitious startup into a profitable international business at the forefront of biogas, biomethane, and renewable feedstocks. In this role, you take full ownership of your portfolio, from developing suppliers and customers to identifying new markets and commercial opportunities.
You'll have the freedom to shape trading strategies, explore international markets, and make a direct impact on business growth. With short decision-making lines and a culture that values initiative, your ideas can quickly become reality. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to diverse feedstock streams, by-products, co-products, and circular economy markets while helping accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future.
You will join a close-knit trading team consisting of two Traders, a Trade Executive, and a Trade Manager, with plans to further expand the team as the business grows.
4 - 8 years of experience in commodity trading, sourcing, procurement, or business development.
Experience with feedstocks, biomass, agricultural commodities, biofuels, or related markets is a plus.
Strong commercial skills, including contract negotiation, supplier development, and margin management.
Understanding of physical commodity trading, logistics, supply chains, and international trade (Incoterms).
Ability to identify market opportunities and turn them into profitable businesses.
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with suppliers and customers.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where initiative is valued.
