Department Profile The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional’s trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk. Background on the Team The Fixed Income Structuring team is responsible for designing, pricing, and marketing structured solutions and derivatives tailored to prevailing macroeconomic conditions across FX, Interest Rates, and Credit. The team works in close partnership with trading desks to optimize the firm’s risk and revenue profile, while collaborating extensively with Sales across Fixed Income, Private Bank, and Investment Banking to deliver investment products and hedging solutions tailored to the needs of institutional, corporate, and wealth management clients. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with key sales and trading partners across the firm to design, model, and market macro derivative solutions for Greater China institutional and corporate clients • Work closely with internal trading desks in defining risk profile and discussing portfolio hedging strategies • Coordinate end-to-end execution of transactions across multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Trading, Legal, XVA and other internal functions, while serving as a key point of contact for clients What You’ll Bring to the Role * 3 - 5 years of experience as a FX or IR structurer within a top tier financial institution * Strong understanding of the FX and macro markets, including derivative products and their risk dynamics * Strong understanding of corporate accounting and banking capital / liquidity frameworks, specifically in the context of derivative transactions * A well-balanced combination of quantitative expertise, commercial acumen, and strong communication skills, as the role involves actively marketing structured products to corporate clients * The candidate shall spend most of her/his time on highly tailor-made transactions, hence is expected to have a solution driven mind-set and to add value across each phase of the project.
