The Fixed Income Division is comprised of a number of businesses, including Interest Rate, Currency, Credit and Commodities Products. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities business is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide in both physical and derivative commodity risk.
What you'll do in the role:
* Assisting with financial analysis (e.g. Pnl, capital, liquidity)
* Completing EMEA and US risk / PnL sign off follow up with desk.
* Manage system to ensure risk is booked to correct desk/sub desk.
* Monitoring trader PnL email, follow up with desk for daily PnL; conduct various reconciliations.
* Conduct monthly expense analysis.
* Prepare relevant packs – Monthly, Weekly for EMEA and US Sales and Trading monthly.
* Manage legal invoice payments.
What you'll bring to the role:
* [4-8] years of industry experience
* Background in financial business performance and planning (P&L, Capital, Expenses, etc.)
* Strong quantitative skills and an ability to think analytically.
* Project management sills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to quickly grasp key concepts and take ownership of deliverables.
* Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility with multiple priorities working in a team setting.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to provide information in comprehensible formats.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to think strategically and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
* Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
