(HQ) Forwarding Integration System Analyst

Join our global Enterprise Applications team as a Senior Forwarding Integration System Analyst. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, optimization, and maintenance of mission-critical data exchange pipelines between CargoWise One (CW1), legacy systems, and external partner platforms. You will act as the technical bridge between global forwarding operations and IT, driving digital transformation through advanced system integration, EDI standardization, and process automation to enhance global logistics efficiency and data integrity. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Forwarding Integration Design & Maintenance: Design, implement, and support complex ETL processes and data pipelines focused on forwarding operations (e.g., Shipment, Console, Waybill, and Customs data) to ensure seamless synchronization across the global enterprise landscape.
• EDI & Partner Onboarding: Lead the integration with carriers, co-loaders, and customers by mapping and validating EDI specifications (e.g., EDIFACT , IATA CargoIMP). Ensure compliant and high-speed data transmission for automated booking, status updates, and documentation.
• System Optimization & CW1 Support: Drive integration enhancements within CargoWise One, managing mass data uploads, registry configurations, and workflow triggers to minimize manual intervention and technical debt.
• Cross-System Troubleshooting: Serve as technical support for resolving complex data integration issues and pipeline failures. Perform deep-rooted cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.
• Scripting & Process Automation: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement automation solutions using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) or workflow tools (Power Automate) to streamline data transformation and routine system tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global forwarding business owners to translate operational requirements into technical specifications, maintaining up-to-date documentation and leading cross-functional project delivery.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Technical Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• SQL, ETL and data pipeline design

Knowledge/Work Experience

• 8+ years of experience in system integration analysis or technical solution design within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics
• 4+ years of hands-on SQL development, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Strong experience with ETL tools and platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Airflow)
• Proficient in standard EDI formats (EDIFACT , IATA CargoIMP) and API integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON).
• Foundational to intermediate knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript for task automation and data parsing.
• Proven experience with CargoWise One (CW1) modules (Forwarding, Customs) and integration interfaces (eAdapter).
• Hands-on experience with automation/orchestration platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Airflow) is highly desirable.
• Experience in integrating AI/ML models into enterprise workflows, including defining data requirements, collaborating with data scientists, and evaluating model performance within a production environment is highly desirable.
