Job Description/Expectations:

The Social Media Coordinator at Movaci is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the company's presence across multiple social media platforms to generate sales leads for the Sales Department. This full-time position supports the broader sales and marketing communications strategy by creating engaging content, coordinating publication schedules, fostering community interaction, and ensuring alignment with company branding and values. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital storytelling, strong communication skills, and an eye for design, experience generating sales leads in a B2B (business to business) setting, and can work independently while maintaining collaboration across departments.


Responsibilities

Engagement

  • Create compelling and interactive content (images, graphics, short videos, carousels, polls, stories, etc.) tailored to each platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Use social media to amplify campaigns, promote events, spotlight partners, and celebrate milestones.
  • Monitor platforms daily to engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and contribute to trending conversations relevant to our mission.

Coordination

  • Maintain and manage a structured monthly content calendar to ensure strategic and timely posts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to source stories, photos, and insights that can be shared externally.
  • Work with the marketing and leadership teams to promote product launches, events, and campaigns with aligned messaging.
  • Stay informed on social media algorithms, best practices, and new platform features to enhance strategy.

Consistency

  • Uphold brand consistency in tone, voice, visual style, and messaging across all social platforms.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, properly formatted, and aligned with Movaci’s branding and ethical standards.
  • Follow internal content approval workflows and brand guidelines for all external communication.

Follow-through

  • Track engagement metrics, follower growth, impressions, and campaign performance using native analytics and reporting tools.
  • Provide monthly performance summaries and insights, including recommendations for future improvements.
  • Forward promising leads or inquiries generated through social platforms to the Sales team for follow-up.
  • Log campaign data and engagement stats for future reference and campaign benchmarking.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Minimum of 12–15 high-quality posts per month across platforms.
  • Growth in social media engagement by at least 10% per quarter.
  • Response time to comments and messages under 24 hours (within business hours).
  • Monthly delivery of social media performance report with recommendations.
  • Evidence of lead generation or increased website/event traffic from social channels.


Expected Skill Set and Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field (required).
  • Additional certifications in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation tools (preferred).

Experience

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing organizational or brand social media accounts.
  • Proven track record of creating content that increases engagement and drives measurable results.
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Express, Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, community engagement tactics, and algorithmic behaviors.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adopt different tones and voices as needed.
  • Strong visual aesthetic and familiarity with digital design principles.
  • Basic photo/video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines without daily oversight.
