Job Summary


The Finance team supports strategic and operational decision-making through financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation. This role contributes to that work by supporting U.S. international tax compliance, reporting, planning, and process improvement activities.

 

Position Description


The Associate Director, International Tax will report to the Executive Director, Tax Operations, in Rahway, NJ.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review U.S. international tax compliance forms and disclosures, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, and 8993.
  • Prepare and review U.S. international tax calculations, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and foreign tax credits.
  • Support ASC 740 tax accounting and provision review.
  • Support Country-by-Country Reporting, including Form 8975 and Schedule A, Public CbCR, Pillar Two reporting, and GloBE Information Return filings.
  • Support cross-border structuring and tax planning through modeling and analysis of transactions, business initiatives, and legislative or regulatory changes.
  • Assist with dividend planning and tax-efficient cash repatriation, including coordination with Treasury.
  • Prepare and review responses to IRS examinations.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as needed.
  • Implement and manage automation solutions to improve tax process efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant international tax experience, including compliance, provision, planning, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax rules, including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, and E&P calculations.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in taxation and/or CPA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 740, including international tax accounting, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate impacts.
  • Experience with Pillar Two, GIR reporting, CbCR, and global tax transparency initiatives preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of complex tax issues and drive projects to completion.
  • Ability to collaborate across tax, finance, treasury, accounting, legal, and business teams.
  • Working knowledge of Corptax International and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using automation and data analytics tools, including Alteryx, Power BI, and Power Query, to streamline tax processes and reporting.

The salary range for this role is

$129,000.00 - $203,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
