Summary
NAC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Concrete Coordinator to support our construction teams on heavy civil projects, including industrial, water, and wastewater treatment facilities. This role plays a key part in planning, coordination, and execution of concrete works by ensuring drawings, materials, and field requirements are aligned for efficient project delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, trades, and suppliers to help drive productivity, accuracy, and quality across all concrete-related activities.
Review and interpret structural drawings and specifications; perform markups to support field execution
Complete accurate quantity take-offs for concrete, rebar, formwork, and related materials
Coordinate and procure materials including concrete, rebar, lumber, and accessories
Schedule and track material deliveries to ensure alignment with construction schedules
Communicate effectively with Carpenters, Vendors, Engineers, and Subcontractors to support project needs
Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies and field-related issues
Support planning and coordination of concrete activities to optimize workflow and sequencing
Maintain organized documentation and ensure latest drawings and revisions are distributed to the field
Utilize software tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.) to prepare and update drawing markups
Collaborate with the project team to support quality control and cost management initiatives
Construction related formal education program – degree/diploma.
Construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training & experience.
Strong knowledge and experience reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications
Proficiency in performing quantity take-offs and material coordination
Experience ordering and managing deliveries of concrete, rebar, lumber, and related materials
Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar drawing/markup software
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Background in industrial, water, or wastewater construction is considered an asset
