Barista - Budapest

As a barista you will act as a brand ambassador and will be passionate about coffee and dedicated to
creating and managing a special coffee house experience for the café corner based in our Budapest Nanushka store. The ideal candidate must be charismatic, passionate about people, provide exceptional customer service, and experienced in making different coffee specialties (ie: Espresso, pour over, and cold brew).

Responsibilities:

• Aid in maintaining operations and exceeding sales goals set for the café
  
• Market, sell and serve clients in a courteous manner
  
• Display working knowledge of all menu items and prices, including the ability to speak about each drink that is served to customers and co-workers

• Possess proficiency in using Point-of-Sale systems, and safe cash handling procedures
  
• Verbally receive and call back coffee orders in a friendly manner; observe guests to fulfill any additional requests 

• Ensure café standards and cleanliness are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Maintain reliability through accurate processing of register transactions, and providing accurate information to clients

• Undertake supply ordering, writing assignments as needed, and monitoring inventory
  
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines
  
• Strong focus on hospitality and providing exceptional customer service, which includes the ability to work well with others

• Promotes positive working environment through effective communication with peers, shop management, and corporate office

• Other duties as assigned by Shop and Assistant Managers
  
  

Skills:

• Minimum of 1 years of coffee shop experience is strongly preferred
  
• Must have open availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
  
• Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and highly motivated
  
• Proven experience in latte art, alternative coffee making experience is a plus (ie: V60, Kalita, Aeropress).
