• →Fabricate and modify commercial hollow metal, wood, and storefront doors and frames per shop drawings and specifications
• →Measure, cut, drill, route, weld, and assemble door components using shop tools and fabrication equipment
• →Prep doors for hinges, locks, closers, exit devices, and other commercial hardware
• →Verify dimensions, swing, handing, and hardware locations prior to fabrication
• →Install glass kits, louvers, edge guards, and other accessories as required
• →Inspect completed doors and frames to ensure quality and accuracy
• →Label and organize fabricated doors by project, opening number, and delivery sequence
• →Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to confirm material availability
• →Assist with loading, packaging, and staging doors for delivery or jobsite deployment
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication area
• →Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
• →Troubleshoot fabrication issues and communicate improvements or concerns to leadership

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong ability to read measurements and use hand and power tools
• Experience with routers, drill presses, saws, welders, and other fabrication equipment
• Ability to lift and move door units weighing 50–150 lbs (with assistance as needed)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlines

• Experience with Division 8 products and commercial door hardware
• Welding or metal fabrication experience
• Familiarity with storefront and hollow metal systems
• Forklift or warehouse equipment experience

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hand and power tools
• Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment with moderate noise, dust, and varying temperatures
