Netchex is a leading cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) platform trusted by thousands of small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. We centralize the entire employee lifecycle — from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, time tracking, and benefits administration — into a single, intuitive, mobile-friendly system. Our mission is simple: make HR and payroll easier for the businesses that power America's workforce.

We're a remote‑first team of builders, problem‑solvers, and people‑focused innovators — and we're just getting started.

Our marketing engine is high‑output and accelerating — and we need a WordPress expert who can keep pace with it. As our WordPress Marketing Manager, you'll own the CMS day‑to‑day: building and publishing pages at volume, maintaining technical site health, and ensuring everything that goes live is fast, clean, and SEO‑sound. This is a hands‑on execution role where you'll work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with content, design, and product marketing to ship campaigns end‑to‑end. If you thrive in speed, take pride in a clean content calendar, and can move between the visual editor and the code editor without skipping a beat — this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

- Build and publish WordPress pages at high volume — blogs, landing pages, industry pages, and campaign pages — on tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Translate briefs and design mockups into polished, on‑brand pages using Elementor, Divi, or custom block editors.
- Own technical site health: PHP/functions.php edits, HTML/CSS customizations, plugin management, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Manage script injections, head/footer tags, and third‑party integrations (GTM, GA4, HubSpot, Hotjar, etc.).
- Apply on‑page SEO best practices to every publish: title tags, meta, headers, schema, and internal linking via Yoast SEO.
- Audit existing content regularly for broken links, redirect issues, and crawlability gaps — and fix them without being asked.
- Manage cookie consent and privacy compliance scripts (OneTrust, Cookiebot, or similar) in line with GDPR and CCPA.

- 3+ years of hands‑on WordPress experience in a marketing environment, with a portfolio to show for it.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS; comfortable with PHP and WordPress template hierarchy when needed.
- Experience with script injections, tag management, and third‑party integrations (GTM, GA4, HubSpot).
- Solid on‑page SEO fundamentals and working knowledge of Yoast SEO or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cookie consent tools and GDPR/CCPA compliance requirements.
- Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without dropping the ball.
- B2B SaaS or agency background is a strong plus; HubSpot, Figma, JSON‑LD, or Git experience is a bonus.

- You move fast and don't need hand‑holding — you're given a brief and you ship.
- You're equally comfortable in the visual editor and the code editor, and you know when to use each.
- You have a sharp eye for layout and brand consistency, even when working at speed.
- You take ownership — if something on the site is broken or off, you notice it and fix it without being asked.
- You communicate proactively; if there's a blocker, a bug, or a better way to do something, you speak up.
- You thrive in a high‑output environment and hold yourself to a high standard even when the pace is relentless.

- Full ownership of the WordPress environment — this is your domain, and you'll have the autonomy to run it.
- A marketing team that moves fast and actually ships — no endless review cycles or committee approvals.
- Direct impact on a content engine that competes at the highest level in a crowded SaaS market.
- Remote‑first environment with a lean, collaborative team that values execution over process.
- Room to grow into broader marketing ops or technical marketing leadership as Netchex scales.
