So, what’s the role all about?

  • Strong Excel/Analytical skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage changes in the direction of the company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to maximize performance.
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts (e.g. deferred revenue, backlog vs. recognized) in a subscription or services-based business.
  • Prior technology industry experience.
  • Revenue forecasting & tracking — own the revenue forecast / recognition and weekly close process. Track sales pipeline, bookings, revenue and renewals.
  • Reporting & analysis — create meaningful ad-hoc and standard reports and refine existing ones. Each month, analyze actuals against forecast/budget and communicate weekly metrics, monthly results, and variance analysis, as well as quarterly and annual projections.
  • Business partnering — act as a point of contact for the Revenue team and other stakeholders on financial modeling, budgeting, and business planning questions.
