Job Description

This position is also responsible for creating, controlling and maintaining the Master Production Schedule and Production Floor Schedule in support of the Sales Demand, Forecast, Material, Capacity, Company Objectives, and Manufacturing Strategy while minimizing inventory investment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Helps maintains Master Production Schedule (MPS) in accordance with jointly developed monthly plans and per management direction
- Effectively releases and maintains work orders in support of monthly plans and production schedule
- Questions, verifies, and approves the feasibility of schedule additions and changes within the planning horizon by reviewing MRP requirements with purchasing, updates/manages the work orders with production and updates MPS
- Develops and maintains Recovery Schedules as required to meet customer demand and internal recovery to plan
- Coordinate Planning and Production plans with Purchasing, Production and Product Teams to ensure all resources are available to support the plan
- Supports new product development teams with inventory phase out/in plans and effectively launches new products and End of Life products, minimizing obsolescence

- Supports inventory control team with periodic cycle counts
