A seasoned, hands-on administrator who understands the business problem, scopes and implements complex solutions across Salesforce and connected systems with minimal guidance, and stays accountable for technical quality through delivery and ongoing support.
NinjaOne is looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to help shape the systems and capabilities that support our growing global revenue organization. As part of Sales Operations, you'll translate complex business needs into practical, scalable solutions across Salesforce and our connected sales technology ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong technical judgment with business curiosity and a builder's mindset. You'll look beyond the immediate request to understand the underlying problem, challenge unnecessary complexity, and design and build solutions that improve how our teams work. Partnering closely with Salesforce Architects, Admins, our broader Sales Operations teams, and Revenue Stakeholders you'll guide solutions from discovery and design through implementation and adoption. Your impact will extend beyond individual projects: you'll help strengthen the architecture, standards, and technical capabilities that allow NinjaOne to scale without continually adding manual work or one-off solutions.
Location - Berlin, Germany
- Partner with business and Operations stakeholders to understand workflows, identify root causes, and translate priorities into clearly scoped solutions. Challenge assumptions and clarify requirements before moving into a build.
- Develop practical recommendations that account for user experience, business impact, dependencies, delivery effort, and long-term maintainability. Explain options and tradeoffs clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Help scope, design, and implement technical solutions for approved Salesforce initiatives, including data models, automation, access controls, integration requirements, and the impact on existing workflows.
- Favor straightforward, maintainable solutions, using native capabilities and low-code tools where appropriate and custom development where justified. Consider scale, performance, security, and support needs before implementation.
- Design solutions around end-to-end workflows across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other revenue functions—not isolated requests within a single tool.
- Partner with Sales Integrations, Data & AI, and other technical owners to define system responsibilities, data flows, dependencies, and exception handling. Ensure Salesforce changes work reliably within the broader technology environment.
- Remain hands-on through prototyping, configuration, complex automation, and troubleshooting. Work alongside administrators and developers through implementation, peer reviews of technical work, and help resolve design challenges.
- Partner with the Salesforce Platform Manager to strengthen testing, version control, deployment practices, and release readiness. Create clear design documentation and support handoffs so solutions can be understood, maintained, and improved by the broader team.
- Proactively identify technical debt, fragmented workflows, and recurring issues. Recommend phased improvements that address root causes and support new business, customer, and regional requirements without unnecessary customization.
- Partner with Data & AI and Operations teams to evaluate practical automation and AI-enabled improvements. Help define the data, access, integration, testing, and human-review requirements needed to move useful ideas into dependable workflows.
- Provide technical mentorship and constructive design feedback to administrators and developers. Build reusable patterns and shared knowledge that improve delivery quality and reduce reliance on individual experts.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and recommendations early. Contribute architectural input to the platform roadmap and follow through on the technical outcomes of the initiatives you support.
- You bring meaningful Salesforce delivery experience. You have 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including ownership of solution design and implementation for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- You have strong platform fundamentals. You understand Salesforce data architecture, security and sharing, Flow, configuration, and platform constraints. You can assess how design decisions affect reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- You can work across configuration and code. You have the technical depth to evaluate Apex and Lightning components, review implementation approaches, and troubleshoot solutions alongside administrators and developers.
- You think beyond Salesforce alone. You have experience designing solutions involving connected applications, APIs, and data flows, with a clear understanding of system ownership and downstream impacts.
- You understand how revenue teams work. You can connect technical decisions to business workflows, user needs, and operational outcomes. You are comfortable turning incomplete or ambiguous requirements into a clear recommendation.
- You take ownership beyond the design document. You bring disciplined testing, documentation, and delivery practices, communicate tradeoffs directly, and stay engaged until a solution works in practice.
Nice to Have
~2 min read- Experience supporting a high-growth B2B SaaS organization with multiple sales motions, international teams, or evolving customer and partner models.
- Familiarity with CPQ, routing, sales engagement, and integration platforms such as DealHub, LeanData, Salesloft, or Workato.
- Experience improving an established Salesforce environment through architectural simplification, automation redesign, integrations, or data migrations.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, particularly architecture-focused credentials, and experience applying automation or AI to business workflows.
Business priorities become well-defined solutions with clear design decisions and fewer surprises during implementation. Revenue teams experience simpler workflows and less manual work. Salesforce changes fit reliably into connected systems, and the technical team can maintain and extend what has been built.
Over time, your work should help the organization deliver more consistently, reduce recurring issues and avoidable rework, and support growth without increasing complexity at the same pace.
