- Position: Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient
- Location: Skokie Hospital
- Per Diem (as needed)
- Hours: Rotating shifts 5 am - 12 am; rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
- →Education: PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
- →Certification: N/A
- →Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- →Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- →Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
- →Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
- →Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
