Position: Collaborative Registered Nurse, Oncology
Location: Glenbrook Hospital/Glenbrook Kellogg Cancer Center - Glenview, IL
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays.
Required Travel: May float to Evanston and Highland Park Kellogg Cancer Centers, as needed.

Responsibilities

→Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
→Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
→Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
→Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
→Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

→Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
→Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.
→Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
→Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience, highly preferred.
