Position: Radiation Therapist, Oncology
Location: Glenbrook Hospital - Glenview, IL
Full Time | 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, no weekends or holidays, on call once every 2 months
Required Travel: Swedish, Evanston, and Highland Park Hospital as needed

Responsibilities

→Simulates treatment set-ups, performs dosimetric calculation, and accurately delivers ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist while working under general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology.
→Assists in patient care and management.
→Adheres to clinical, technical and operational policies and procedures.

→Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, required.
→Certification: At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology Therapy) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within one year of start date into position.
→Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association, required.
→License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure, required.
→Experience: previous experience with Varian equipment and previous experience with ARIA EMR, preferred.
