Position: RN Per Diem, Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry
Location: Highland Park Hospital, Highland Park, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours)
Hours: Day Shift (7:00-3:30pm) Rotating Weekends/Holidays

Responsibilities

→License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
→Education: BSN degree preferred
→Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
→Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience ; previous Psych experience strongly preferred.

→Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for an inpatient adolescent and young adult psychiatry unit, patients age 12-22
→Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
→Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel, such as mental health associates, in delivering psychiatric patient care
→Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
→Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high quality patient experience
