- Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules]
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborating with principal investigators and research teams to assist in the planning, design, and execution of research studies and experiments.
- →Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness, and assisting with the procurement of research supplies and materials.
- →Collecting, recording, and analyzing research data using various techniques, instruments, and software, following established protocols and procedures.
- →Conducting literature reviews and assisting in the development of research protocols, grant applications, and research publications.
- →Preparing research materials, including laboratory reagents, tissue samples, specimen shipping, and ensuring proper storage and documentation.
- →Assisting with participant recruitment, consent processes, and data collection, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- →Performing data entry, quality control, and statistical analysis, as well as generating data reports and graphical representations for research presentations.
- →Maintaining accurate and organized research records, including electronic and paper files, and ensuring data confidentiality and security.
- →Assisting in the preparation and submission of research proposals, grant applications, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions.
- →Participating in research team meetings, contributing to discussions, and staying informed about advancements in the field.
- →Education: High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- →Experience: Previous experience in a research role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting, is preferred
