SAS Development Engineer

• →Design, develop, test, and enhance applications on the SAS Viya Cloud Platform.
• →Develop and support advanced SAS programs and automated ETL processes.
• →Build integrations between vendor APIs, enterprise databases, and reporting platforms using SAS and Python.
• →Support production analytics capabilities and data pipelines.
• →Participate in solution design, release planning, and implementation activities.
• →Troubleshoot production incidents and performance issues.
• →Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
• →Provide technical guidance and code reviews where appropriate.

• 7+ years of SAS development, analytics, or related experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience.
• Must have professional working proficiency in English
• Advanced SAS Viya Cloud Platform experience.
• Strong SAS programming and macro development experience.
• Python development experience, particularly API integration.
• ETL and data pipeline development experience.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions, API integrations, and production support.
• Analytics and reporting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in Financial Services industry

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred certifications include SAS Certified Specialist in Administration of SAS Viya, Programming Fundamentals, Programming Using SAS 9.4, or Advanced Programming Using SAS 9.4
