Consultant to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN). ## Required Skills & Qualifications ### Technical Skills (Must-Have) * Expert-level SQL with experience writing and managing very large, complex queries (10–15+ pages). * Strong PL/SQL expertise, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, and exception handling. * Deep knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning. * Extensive experience with enterprise databases (Oracle strongly preferred; others acceptable). * Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or equivalent). * Solid understanding of indexing, partitioning, execution plans, and database statistics. * Experience working with large-scale historical and transactional datasets. ### Data Engineering & Systems Knowledge * Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline design. * Experience with data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension modeling, normalization/denormalization). * Familiarity with scheduling tools and workflow orchestration. * Strong grasp of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
