At Nuna, our mission is to make high-quality healthcare affordable for everyone. We are dedicated to tackling one of our nation’s biggest problems with ingenuity, creativity, and a keen moral compass.

Nuna is committed to simple principles: a rigorous understanding of data, modern technology, and most importantly, compassion and care for our fellow human. We want to know what really works, what doesn't—and why.

Nuna has established its brand in the B2B space over the last decade by shifting the US healthcare system towards an incentive model that rewards healthcare providers for positive outcomes. Marshalling our collective backgrounds and insights, we are now crafting an innovative, consumer app - a clinically driven healthcare companion experience that leverages AI, gamification and social support techniques to improve outcomes for people with chronic conditions.

As a sign of the impact Nuna has already made in this space, Nuna was recently selected to join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Health Tech Ecosystem, a landmark public-private initiative designed to transform healthcare for Americans.

Design sets the bar for the character, tone, and visual impact of our products and is responsible for designing experiences that are intuitive and compelling to use. Nuna Designers embrace their superpower to visualize the ideal user experience, rapidly testing and iterating on solutions while aligning the teams on a common vision.

Product Design blends leadership and execution skills to simultaneously elevate our practice and our products. This is a highly visible role across the organization, requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration and engagement. It also necessitates deep empathy for and understanding of patient healthcare and wellness journeys; the primary focus of our work.

This is an opportunity to play a critical part in conceptualizing and launching Nuna’s patient and provider experiences. In this role you will:

  • Design AI-first, consumer-facing applications and contribute to Nuna’s patient and provider experiences

  • Develop and communicate a clear, compelling experience design for the product that aligns the interest of all relevant stakeholders

  • Promote user-centric design strategies, utilizing quantitative and qualitative UX research and competitive analysis to inform product recommendations and decisions.

  • Develop and implement prototypes and documentation deliverables that effectively communicate design intent

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and healthcare experts to deliver scalable solutions

  • Contribute to internal process development initiatives that optimize and scale Design’s contribution to successful Nuna products and culture

  • Expertly develop and deliver internal and public presentations
